The Jazz monkey

This is my take on the standard jazzbass with some improvements for better neck balance and reduced weight. This results in a recessed headstock and thinner, slimmer body.

The Single Monkey

This model is based on a single cut body. This is becoming a more popular model. The neck is attached wit a set neck construction.

The Prestige Monkey

This is the state-of-the-art model of Monkeybassness as it contains a lot of the latest features found on high end basses over the world.

The Signature Monkey

This is one the first designs that helped shape the look of Monkeybassness. The shape felt good immediately and was the guide model that shaped the prestige and single monkey basses.

Jazz Monkey

This is my take on the standard jazzbass with some improvements to it for better neck balance and reduced weight like a recessed headstock and thinner, slimmer body. This model is can have following setups: 2x jazz pickups, precision pick-up or combination of a jazz pick-up in bridge position and a precision pick-up in neck position. Pick-up placement (bridge) is between 60’s and 70’s standard position. GOTOH® 201 bass bridge and gotoh GB 707 tuners. Passive or active electronics. This bass has vintage and modern aspects combined in one instrument so we have the best of both worlds.

The single monkey:

This model is based on a single cut body which is becoming a popular body shape. This adds more sustain. The neck is attached with a set neck construction to the body. This model comes standard with ABM MKII bass bridge or single bass bridges. Schaller M4 tuners or headless tuning system. The single monkey is standard equipped with one quad coil soapbar pick up in music man position by Bartolini ,passive or active  electronic circuit. Another option I offer is a multicoil pick-up in combination with a filter preamp that delivers you the tone known as by Wall or Alembic basses. Hybrid system of Delano or 2 j Squared quad cool pick-up bu Bartolini is a third option for this model.

The prestige monkey

This is the state-of-the-art model of Monkeybassness as it contains a lot of the latest features found on high end basses over the world.

It features a neck-thru construction with soapbar (dual or quad coil) pick ups and 3 or 4 band preamp which delivers great and modern tones. For bridges you have the option between Schaller 3D bridge or thru body bridge Gotoh 404. Tuners are Schaller M1.

The signature monkey

This is one the first designs that helped shape the look of Monkeybassness. The shape felt good immediately and was the guide model that shaped the prestige and single monkey basses. This is the bridge between a single and prestige model. This model has standard bolt on neck construction and with the special pick up placement unique for the signature, it delivers a great punchy and growly tone. Hardware, pick-ups and electronics are the same as for the prestige model.
